Then it’s straight to the white noise and voila! Settled baby, happy mummy.Įxcept now he is starting to teeth and the white noise does sweet FA in that regard.Colic, overstimulation, hunger–there are many reasons why your baby could be crying at night. I had tried absolutely everything and he just wouldn’t be quiet. Harvey had been crying non-stop for hours. To be honest I figured this out in a dodgy-parenting sort of way. (So a special shoutout to absolutely nobody for telling us about this). IT’S WHITE NOISE AND IT’S FREAKIN MAGICAL! I’m talking about the vacuum cleaner, the blender, and the washing machine. I’m sure every mum has had those days and knows what I am going on about… The days would be so long and exhausting and I just couldn’t wait for Todd to get home so he could help out (although literally every time he came home, Harvey would stop crying straight away, making it look like I was making it all up). It was so frustrating and it seemed like no matter what I did nothing would settle him. I remember the first few months of Harvey’s life where he would spend days at a time just crying and screaming and crying. ![]()
